Abortion is legal in Argentina. After twelve hours of debate in the Senate, with 38 votes in favor, 29 against, and one abstention, and following a marathon vigil around Congress, a decades-long struggle for freedom culminated. People capable of becoming pregnant can now terminate their pregnancies up to the 14th week. These twelve-hour events are now part of history.
