Higui de Jesús denied release: a national day of action called

The court rejected the request for the release of Eva "Higui" de Jesús. Her lawyer said it was a "discriminatory and sexist" measure and that she will appeal the decision. The family and the Justice for Higui Working Group are calling for a National Day of Action for Higui's Freedom and Acquittal on Wednesday, May 17.
