The 34th Pride March in the City of Buenos Aires filled the streets with dancing, demands, activism, resistance, collective organization and imagination, in a context of setbacks in rights, cuts in public policies and economic adjustment.
Here are some photos and videos of how Pride was celebrated, a week before the elections. Despite the protests, the freedom of our bodies and ways of relating to one another is always a celebration when we come together and embrace each other in our diverse identities.

The Pride March Organizing Committee's document emphasized that "the government and the media play a leading role in producing and reproducing the narratives that fuel attacks by serial haters." It called for a Comprehensive Trans Law and an Anti-Discrimination Law, as well as compliance with the laws on HIV, Hepatitis, STIs, and Tuberculosis.

Meanwhile, the Organizing Committee of the Pride March – Historical Line focused its demands on three slogans: “Historical reparations for older trans and gender-diverse people! Rejection of Decrees 61 and 62/25! Pride triumphs over hate!” It denounced the persecution of trans feminists, Indigenous peoples, Black communities, migrants, older adults, people with disabilities, and political leaders such as Cristina Fernández de Kirchner. It called for a broad democratic agreement against hate speech.
