BUENOS AIRES, Argentina. In Argentina, there are two fundamental laws for accessing formal employment: the Gender Identity Law and the Transgender and Transvestite Employment Quota Law (Lohana Berkins and Diana Sacayán ). Even so, access to work for LGBT people has historically been difficult.
Social organizations and educational institutions have taken on the task of providing training, capacity building, and administrative support. This article tells you which institutions these are.
Contratatrans is a program of the non-profit organization Impacto Digital. The Contratatrans website offers training opportunities, tips for creating a resume, job fair placements, and other resources.
The Mocha Celis Popular High School also has a space that seeks to improve the conditions of social and labor integration "so that all people can access formal work in an environment free of discrimination and violence that embraces transvestite, trans and non-binary identities with a gender perspective."

Nos Necesita is a space for LGBTQ+ support and guidance, including LGBTQ+ individuals, gender nonconformity, and diversity. Through its social media networks, the space gathers information about various health, education, and employment services.
For LGBT designers and creatives, there's Somos Queer . It's a creative studio specializing in digital strategy and web design. For now, you can contact them through their Instagram account.
Training and education
The Association of Transvestites, Transsexuals and Transgender People of Argentina (ATTTA) in Neuquén, in addition to being a space of support, offers vocational workshops with job placement opportunities.
Nadia Echazú is the name of the first Cooperative Textile School for Transvestites and Transsexuals operating in Avellaneda. In addition to production in the workplace, it offers training courses.
If you want to dedicate yourself to art, Tango Queeer is a great place for tango training with a gender perspective. They offer workshops and seminars for both dancing and teaching.
The Lesbian Blacksmithing School Cooperative is a workplace and training center. They offer in-person and online courses. They also have blacksmithing workshops in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, and on Fridays from 10 AM to 1 PM, you can join their Instagram Live Blacksmithing demonstration.
Peru
Our audience recommended Presente, an organization that works to promote LGBTIQ+ rights and operates in Peru. Through their website , you can access workshops, register talents, upload your CV, and report instances of discrimination.
