Claudia Pía Baudracco was an Argentinian trans activist and militant. March 18th is commemorated as Transgender Rights Day as a way to honor her struggle.

Claudia Pía died on March 18, 2012 , without a national identity document recognizing her gender. She was one of the pioneers in the passage of the Gender Identity Law, which was approved two months after her death, in May 2012.
