LGBT+ children have always existed . Over the years, the topic has been discussed more openly, and more ways are being considered to support the growth and expression of those who grow up with identities outside of heteronormativity. But until very recently, and even today, being an LGBT+ child was something invisible, denied, and even punished.
The user @russipay on the X network shared a photo inviting people to share pictures where we were clearly already regal queer people shouting, “Mom, wake up!” The thread that was created is wonderfully powerful and tender, a space of tenderness and resistance that we felt it was necessary and loving to share with you.
