How is LGBT+ Pride Month being celebrated this year in Argentina?
Fairs, events, and marches are among the activities taking place throughout the country. The first major march will be on Saturday, May 5th, from Plaza de Mayo to Congress. The slogans.

BUENOS AIRES, Argentina. Argentina celebrates LGBTQ+ Pride from north to south with fairs, marches, events, and parties throughout the country. From mid-October to the end of November, organizing committees in different districts across the country hold their local Pride celebrations. Some of them are doing so for the first time.
Among the most repeated demands in the demonstrations are “stop the transvesticide, transfemicide and transhomicide”, “Comprehensive Trans Law now” and “ Justice for Tehuel de la Torre ”.
It is also a historical reparation for adult transvestites and trans women for the institutional violence they received throughout their lives for reasons of gender.
Furthermore, the group has been demanding compliance with the transgender employment quota nationwide and the effective, federal implementation of the Comprehensive Education Law. They are also calling for an update to the Anti-Discrimination Law , respect for body diversity, inclusive sports environments, and an end to racism, xenophobia, and sexism, among other demands.
What will the marches be like across the country?
City of Buenos Aires
The Pride and Struggle Front is calling for a gathering on November 5th at 4 PM at Diagonal Norte and Florida.
The Pride March Organizing Committee invites you to a day of events in Plaza de Mayo on November 5th. A fair will begin at 11:00 AM, followed by live music at 1:00 PM, and the march to the National Congress will start at 4:00 PM.
Last Saturday was also the 4th Transvillera and Plurinational Pride March.
Province of Buenos Aires
The 9th LGBTINB Pride March in the province of Buenos Aires will take place on Saturday, November 29th in La Plata. The gathering will begin at 2 PM between 7th and 50th Streets.
Esteban Echeverría
first Pride March in Esteban Echeverría will take place on November 27th . The gathering is scheduled for 4 PM in Plaza de Los Fundadores (Arana and Alem, Monte Grande), while the march and festival will begin at 5 PM.
Baradero
The Pride March in Baradero will be held on November 27th at 3:30 PM in Plaza Mitre.
Avellaneda
1st Avellaneda LGBT+ Pride March will take place, starting at 5:30 PM . It will begin at Plaza Alsina (Avenida Mitre 700) and end at Parque La Estación (Gral. Güemes 700). The music festival will start at 7:00 PM and conclude at 9:30 PM with a performance by Sudor Marika.
Quilmes
The 6th Quilmes Pride March will take place on Saturday, November 19th. The gathering will be at 2 PM at the corner of Rivadavia and Sarmiento streets. The closing show will be performed by Chocolate Rémix.
Berazategui
The third annual Pride March will take place in Berazategui on December 3rd. The organizers invite artists and vendors to participate in this new and proud event.
San Isidro
The "San Isidro Comes Out of the Closet" Pride March will take place on October 1st. A gathering is expected at 2 PM at the flagpole (9 de Julio and Belgrano streets) with an open-air radio broadcast. At 3:30 PM, the march will begin, proceeding to Plaza Yrigoyen. The festival, hosted by Franco Torchia and Nicole Vanucci, will start at 4 PM.
San Martín
The 3rd Pride March for Diversities and Dissidents will take place on Saturday, November 19th. The gathering will begin at 10:00 AM with a fair in San Martín Central Plaza. The march will start at 4:00 PM, and a concert will follow at 7:00 PM.
Tandil
The third edition of the 3rd Tandil Pride March will be on December 10th in Plaza Independencia.
Bahía Blanca
The 12th Pride March of Bahía Blanca will take place on December 10th.
Saint Peter
The third Pride march will take place in San Pedro on November 11th.
Saint Nicholas
The meeting in this city is scheduled for November 12th.
Pillar
November 25th will be the day of the meeting in Pilar.
Escobar
The city of Escobar will hold its march on November 26th.
Mar del Plata
The Pride march will take place in Mar del Plata on December 9th.

The march is scheduled for November 19th.
Esteban Echeverría
LGBT groups are organizing the second march in this town. There will be a fair and exhibitions. The event will begin at 4 p.m. in Plaza de Los Fundadores, Monte Grande.
Junín
LGBT Pride march in Junín will take place on November 12th. "This November 12th we march with clear slogans, full of struggle and love, because we deserve a more equal and inclusive city. This November 12th we say ENOUGH OF HIDING, taking to the streets to proudly show LGBTQ+ visibility. This November 12th we await you all to celebrate that we exist and that we want to live in a society freer from prejudice," will be the slogans for the march.
Reefs
"Pride is back in the streets!" says the call to action for the march in Arrecifes on November 19. It is the second LGBT demonstration to be held in that town.
Sea of Ajó
fourth annual LGBTTIQ+ Pride March, organized by @orgullo.lacosta will take place on Saturday, November 19th. The gathering will be at 3:30 PM at the intersection of Libertador and Mitre.
General Madariaga
The fourth Pride march in Madariaga will be on November 27th at 4 PM. With a series of slogans, the meeting will be in Anchorena Park.
From the North with the LGBT flag
Formosa
The Pride March in the capital city of Formosa will take place on November 5th. The gathering will begin at 4 PM in Plaza San Martín, and the march will start at 6 PM.
Salta
In the city of Salta, the 19th LGBTIQ Pride March is expected on November 29th from 5pm in San Martín and Lavalle.
There will also be a march in Cafayate. It's the 2nd Plurinational Pride March of Cafayate, taking place on November 19th. The gathering will begin at Güemes Plaza, and at 9 PM there will be a diverse musical gathering in Family Plaza. The event organizers remember Lorena Flores, a 38-year-old trans woman who passed away from an illness.
Tucumán
The Pride March in San Miguel de Tucumán will take place on December 3rd, starting at Avellaneda Park and ending at Independence Square. Among the demands of the march is “Justice for Cynthia Moreira .” Ramón Soria was tried for her transphobic murder. In September of this year, the Fourth Chamber of the Criminal Court, composed of Judges Wendy Kassar and María Fernanda Bahler and Judge Emilio Páez de la Torre, acquitted him.
Santiago del Estero
The organizations called for the 15th Santiago del Estero Pride March to take place on November 12th in this province.
Saint John
The Pride March in the capital city of San Juan will be on November 20th.
Mendoza
The 12th Pride March in Mendoza's capital city will take place on December 2nd at 3 PM at the intersection of Pedro Molina and San Martín streets. This year's slogan is "The debt is with Melody (Barrera) , Josefina (Cruceño) , and everyone," while the sub-slogan is "Stop the social transphobic violence."
Santa Fe
In the provincial capital, Santa Fe, the march will take place on December 10 .
Meanwhile, in Rosario, Pride celebrations will begin at 1 p.m. on October 1st in Plaza Libertad (Mitre and Pasco). At 5 p.m., the 16th Pride March , heading towards the National Flag Park, and the festival will take place at 8 p.m.
Cordova
The 14th Official Pride March of Córdoba will take place on November 19th under the slogan "Facing hate: Love, Diversity and Organization".
But there will be other actions in the days leading up to it. In Cosquín, the march is scheduled for Plaza San Martín on Saturday, November 5th. In Villa María and Unquillo, the demonstration is planned for November 27th, and in Río Cuarto, it took place on Saturday, October 29th.
Saint Louis
The San Luis Pride March 2022 will be on November 12th.
The Pampas
The 4th Santa Rosa Pride March in La Pampa will take place on November 19th. Activities will begin at 1 PM in Plaza San Martín, and the march will start at 7 PM.
Entre Ríos
The 7th Dissident Pride March of Paraná will take place on November 12th at 5:00 PM, starting from Plaza Primero de Mayo. The march will proceed to Plaza Alvear. Later, at 7:00 PM, a festival will be held.
Pride will also be celebrated in Villa Elisa on November 19th and 20th. On the 19th, a recreational event with soccer, basketball, and volleyball will be held at the sports center located between Churruarín and H. De Ellia streets from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. On the 20th, the first Pride March , with the gathering starting at 5:00 PM at the "Pride Bench" on Avenida Mitre and Del Pilar. The festivities will conclude around 8:30 PM with a festival at La Fragua (H. De Elia and Estrada streets).
In Concepción del Uruguay the mobilization is scheduled for November 19, while in Colón it is scheduled for November 26.
Currents
The 11th LGBTIQNB+ Pride March in the city of Corrientes will take place on November 20th. Participants will gather at the José Hernández Amphitheater starting at 5:30 PM.
But there will also be marches in the towns of Caá Catí on November 12, Paso de los Libres on the 26th, Goya on December 3, Curuzú Cuatiá on the 9th, and Santo Tomé on December 10. All dates can be found on the Instagram account Marcha del Orgullo Curuzú Cuatiá .
In the South
Upper Valley of Neuquén and Río Negro
The LGBTIQ+ Pride March will be held on November 19th at the Graciela Alonso Intercultural Space (formerly Arcos Romanos – Parque Central) in Neuquén. A fair will be held from 4 PM, and the march will begin at 7 PM. In Villa La Angostura
third march in Villa La Angostura will take place on November 26th . The gathering, known as the "Queer Coven" or "Queer Gathering," is scheduled for 4 PM at the Pride Bridge.
Chubut
The 4th Chubut Pride March will take place in Puerto Madryn on November 12th. It will begin at 2 PM at the Luis Piedra Buena Pier Recreational Area with a fair and tributes, and the march will start at 5:30 PM.
The Honorable Legislature of Chubut declared this event "of legislative interest." For its part, the Trelew City Council also considered the Pride march to be of "municipal and cultural interest."
Santa Cruz
The Santa Cruz Pride March will be held in Caleta Olivia on November 12th. The gathering is expected to begin at 5 PM at the Gorosito monument.
Tierra del Fuego
In this province, the strongest demand is "Justice for Nicolás Cristal" .
Ushuaia
The Pride March will be on November 19 from 4 p.m. in San Martín and Fadul.
Rio Grande
In this city in Tierra del Fuego, the march is expected on November 26th and for that purpose, a gathering was called at 3 pm in the Paseo de la Diversidad (Diversity Promenade).
