What is the Memory of LGBT Pride in Latin America?

June is Pride Month in most parts of the world. The 28th of this month is International LGBT Pride Day. The history and dates of Pride in Latin America are celebrated year-round.

The resistance and fight against the police in the middle of the night in New York was the origin of International LGBT Pride Day, which has been celebrated every June 28 since 1969.

It was the most remembered cry against LGBTphobia ever heard in the world, but it wasn't the only one. In various Latin American countries, pockets of resistance had already emerged with demands and protests that are still relevant today.
