The National Court of Cassation acquitted Mariana Gómez of the charges of minor injuries and contempt of authority, for which she was convicted in 2019. The ruling acknowledges the lesbophobic discrimination of the Police and the Judiciary.

Prosecutor's office breaks agreement with feminist activists demanding justice for Nicole Saavedra

The Chilean activists were prosecuted in 2019 for demanding justice for Nicole. After the trial, the Prosecutor's Office was supposed to compensate them by allowing them to paint a mural in homage to the victim of lesbicide. Now, it has broken that agreement.
