Tehuel is a young trans man who was last seen on March 11 in Alejandro Korn, Buenos Aires province. It has now been revealed that the last photo of Tehuel was found during the forensic examination of the cell phone of Luis Alberto Ramos, one of the people arrested. The image shows him on the day of his disappearance alongside Ramos and Oscar Montes, the other person arrested.

On March 11, Tehuel de la Torre (22) said goodbye to his girlfriend to meet with Ramos, who had offered him a job as a waiter. Based on this information, and following the report of the young man's disappearance, the police began investigating the 37-year-old man and arrested him.

On March 28, the court also determined the same measure for Montes (46) and charged him with obstruction of justice in conjunction with perjury. This charge is linked to the discovery made in recent hours, when it was revealed that Ramos's cell phone contained a photo showing the two men and the young trans man at Montes's house.

On Monday in Buenos Aires, there was a march at the Obelisk to demand justice and an intensified search.

The last time they saw him

Tehuel De la Torre turned 22 on March 26. He has been missing since March 11. That day he left his home in San Vicente for the La Esperanza neighborhood in Alejandro Korn. The first person to report his disappearance was his partner. She filed a report at the San Vicente First Police Station, stating that the young man had gone to the home of a man he knew for a job interview as a waiter at an event.

In a police operation at this person's home, a burned cell phone and clothing that could belong to Tehuel, based on his partner's description, were found. The man is in custody. Another person has also been arrested, accused of obstruction of justice.

“We are distraught; all we want is for Tehuel to be found,” insists his sister, Verónica Alarcón. For her, the photo is further evidence that “they were together at some point.” “I want justice. If these people are involved, I want them to pay. I want them to talk and for my brother to be found. I want to find Tehuel no matter what.”.

Alarcón says that raids were still being carried out until the night before last, but they haven't been told anything about the results yet. “I'm satisfied with the justice system, but my mind is racing. We want all the forensic tests to be finished as soon as possible so they can call us and tell us something,” he emphasizes, and expresses his gratitude for the support they have received from friends, organizations, and professionals from the very beginning.
