We invited trans activist Marlene Wayar, a teacher and guiding light for so many, to contribute a series of columns as a way of reflecting on ourselves. In this installment, she speaks about prostitution: a debate that divides feminisms. Ninety-five percent of trans women and transvestites in Argentina are excluded from the health, education, and labor systems. This is why most of them are in situations of prostitution and are victims of persecution and harassment by the police and other forces.
