Don't miss this week's column in "You Can't Live on Love": a new law in the province of Buenos Aires has sanctioned Gender Identity in Sports, guaranteeing access to professional competition according to gender identity; in Peru, a young man suffered homophobic taunts from a well-known salsa band and filed a complaint; in Chile, an Indigenous leader denounced being subjected to an experimental treatment to "cure" HIV; also in Argentina, the horrific attack on a young man by bouncers at a Ramallo nightclub who told him, "Faggots shouldn't be here." And some good news: the verdict in the Diana Sacayán transphobic murder case was recognized with the Gender and Justice Uncovered Award.
