Bicho and I against the patriarchy: "It's going to fall! Or better yet: we're going to knock it down!"
This week of struggle, Bicho and I are joining the streets. "We are many causes, flags, colors, and shouts. Howls. The patriarchy is going to fall, it is falling, and we are going to tear it down every single time it takes."
We are the bodies punished by the patriarchy. We are those whom they have tried to silence for years, and even today. We are those denied rights. We are a tide, a pack, sisterhood, strength, fury, and more. We are many, and nothing and no one will stop us.
The street finds us with flags, colors, and various slogans, but always with the same strength and objective: to obtain what is rightfully ours. We don't come to ask anything of anyone; we come for what is ours.
With weary souls at times, wounded bodies, amidst the cold of the streets and political apathy, we move forward knowing that in the sisterly gaze of those who stand with us we will find the strength to continue. Never stop.
We are many causes, flags, colors, and cries. Howls. We are and will continue to be those who throw the patriarchy to the dogs. It's going to fall, it's falling, and we're going to tear it down every single time it takes.
We are. We will be.
