By Lucas Fauno Gutiérrez (script) and Jon Amarillo (illustrations). In episode #20, Bicho and I have lunch "with privileged people" and discuss PrEP. The acronym stands for "pre-exposure prophylaxis." It refers to pre-exposure prophylaxis medication for HIV-negative individuals, antiretroviral drugs administered to prevent HIV transmission. "While PrEP seems to be a priority for some, there are so many urgent debates still waiting to be addressed," says Lucas Fauno Gutiérrez, the writer of the comic strip illustrated by Jon Amarillo.

"If we're going to talk about PrEP, let's talk about side effects, pharmacological effects, who can access it, and more. If we want to talk about HIV, let's talk about shortages of antiretrovirals, the bill that isn't moving forward, what medication is given to us and why, those of us who are HIV-positive. Let's talk about everything."
