Transvesticide: A trans woman was murdered in Santa Fe; she was 45 years old.

Adriana Bonetto, 45, lived in San José del Rincón (Santa Fe province), where she was murdered. She was found dead early this morning, wrapped in a bloodstained sheet, with multiple stab wounds to various parts of her body. This was reported today by the Santa Fe Public Prosecutor's Office.

Adriana lived in San José del Rincón, a town of more than 10,000 inhabitants on the banks of the Colastiné River. In this city, 7 km north of the provincial capital—and immortalized in several of his books by the Santa Fe writer Juan José Saer—Adriana worked caring for the elderly. The courts are investigating the cause of her death. Adriana had managed to surpass by 10 years the average life expectancy of transvestite and transgender women in several Latin American countries: 35 years. She did not become a survivor.
