In 2017 we witnessed many stories and news reports. Many of them had a counterpart in the streets, because this year saw numerous marches and protests for the rights of sexual diversity in various cities across Latin America.

In 2017, we witnessed many stories and news stories. Many of them resonated in the streets, as numerous marches and protests for LGBTQ+ rights took place in various Latin American cities throughout the year. These are some of the images we captured at Presentes during the year in the five countries where we work: Argentina, Chile, Peru, Paraguay, and, since August, Honduras. This photo journey through 2017 captures the struggle, the joy, the pain, and the pride.
